Behind the stage name Batte is the young Norwegian musician John Christian Apalnes. His music may be hard to define, but it is based on electronica, with elements of several other styles inside. Warm, organic, pulsating and mostly instrumental songs. Sometimes we hear his own humming, sometimes a guitar, a piano and other sounds we may recognize from nonelectronic music.
