Clay Hips are Andrew and Kenji, both formerly of The Fairways. Kenji has also been a part of The Young Tradition and The Guild League. The two have known each other for years, and got together last year to work on this new project. The first we heard from the duo was the wonderful song Failure on The Matinée Hit Parade, a compilation from the US label Matinée Recordings. This is so far their only release as Clay Hips, and they do not have plans to release a full length yet. In the Fairways era, the two lived in the same city, San Francisco, but now they live in different countries. Andrew lives in Dublin, Ireland, while Kenji lives in Munich, Germany.
