Gloomy, moody and texturized. In the work of absnt one can hear influences drawn from many many sources. Rhythmically rich songs are full of melodies that are often minimal in nature but result in something that is far from minimal. They mirror melancholy and sadness but yet also let one fall to comforting ease and feel. absnt works on transcendal grounds which explains why the sounds and moods are not easy to pinpoint to certain location. The music is strongly intuitive, it mesmerizes your mind and goes deep into one's brain leaving one without no chance of prediction where you are taken next.
