Yinglee Srijumpol is a prominent Thai luk thung and lam sing singer under Grammy Gold / GMM Music, widely known as the first Thai luk thung artist to achieve 100 million YouTube views. Yinglee first entered the music industry in 2005 with her debut album “Yan Tok Sawan” under a small label. The album featured the rising track “Bo Yan Bap,” which began gaining strong momentum but also sparked significant public controversy due to its storyline about a woman willingly entering a relationship with a man who already had a partner. The backlash led to the song being banned, causing the momentum to collapse and leaving Yinglee without a follow-up album. Once her contract expired, she was left unsure whether she could continue pursuing a career as a singer. A major turning point came when renowned lam sing composer Sawat Sarakham took her under his wing and later encouraged her to audition for Grammy Gold. She passed and became the label’s first lam sing artist.
