Jintara Poonlarp (born Thongbai Poonlarp on March 6, 1969 in Roi Et) is a Luk-thung and Mo-lam singer, which career expands on 40 years, since her debut album "Thuk Lok Ok Rong Rien (ถูกหลอกออกโรงเรียน" in 1987 with GMM Grammy (Grammy Entertainment at that time). She then switched to her producer's self-label, Master Tape (มาสเตอร์เทป) at her 17th album, in 1994. The label remained however under the rights of GMM Grammy, then Grammy Gold (Grammy's Luk-thung/Mo-lam sub-label) from 1995 onwards. She gained national recognition when in 2002 she appeared on "แฟนจ๋า" (Faen Ja), a track from Bird Thongchai's ธงไชย ชุดรับแขก (Chut Rup Kaek) album. She also performed a duet with Thongchai, "มาทำไม (Ma Thammai)", which is the second track of that album. This featuring got her to perform on the 2004 MTV Asia Awards. In 2007, she moved to RSiam (under the RS label) after Master Tape closed down. Ten years later, she became independent after her RSiam contract expired in 2017. She regained popularity with "เต่างอย" (Tao Ngoi). She still releases new songs to this day, sometimes with new "indie" artists.
