Woodleg Odd (often stylized as Woodleg Odd's) is a prominent Norwegian soul and blues band based in the suburbs of Ålesund, Norway. The band is well-known for its "solid craftsmanship" in contemporary blues and Americana music. Band History and Name The group was formed and led by drummer Odd Ludvig Lie. The name "Woodleg Odd" is a literal reference to Lie, who has a prosthetic wooden leg. Established as one of the most active and productive soul-blues bands in Norway during the 2000s, they gained significant recognition by winning the award for Best Scandinavian Blues Album. Members While the lineup has evolved, core and notable members include: Odd "Woodleg" Lie: Drums and band leader. Adam Douglas: An American vocalist and slide guitarist who joined in 2007.
