Formed in 2003, Wombaticus Rex was a hip hop duo from the The Northeast Kingdom of Vermont consisting of rapper Thirtyseven and producer DJ Multiple Sex Partners. Joined on stage by drummer Ryan Hare and fellow Vermont emcee Chris Dizzy, Wombaticus Rex gained a solid local following in New England for their smooth beats, engaging lyrics and stellar live performances. Having become almost primarily a performing entity, Thirtyseven opted to disband the group in mid-2008. Though no longer creating new music, Wombaticus Rex lives on through its spiritual successors Algorhythms and Humpasaur Jones.
