STINK TANK™ was formed in the summer of 2006 by producer Man Mantis and MC Laduma Nguyuza. Inspired by the trends they saw in the the current state of hip hop, the two sought to create a conceptual statement using multiple characters to evoke a microcosm of players, haters and wannabe rappers. Utilizing Mantis’s timeless beats as a foundation, Nguyuza cycles through four distinct voices and styles of delivery to develop a complex one-man group album.
