Wilmer Wolf (real name: Wilmer Schouten) is a musician, singer, songwriter and producer from The Netherlands, now based in Amsterdam. In the 1980s he was frontman of Secret Sounds (1981-1988). After the group's demise he continued to write, record and produce, but for some reason he never released a solo album... until the summer of 2017, when his long overdue solo début, The Inside Story finally came out. Wolf used lyrics from the 1980s and wrote new music for them, which almost automatically makes the album his life story - of sorts.
