Zigtema is a pop/rock band from The Netherlands, fronted by singer, guitarist and songwriter, Wieb Zigtema (1956), who is a somewhat legendary Dutch underground rocker because of his work with The Rousers (1978-1982) and The Thought (1983-1986). In later years Zigtema recorded with Shoot The Moon (1987-1996), an Emily Dickinson-inspired folk project called The Butterfly Clan (2002-2006) and as a solo artist (see: Wieb Zigtema). In 2013 he established a new band, Zigtema. The band released studio albums of original material in 2014 (What About You) and 2020 (Attempt At Wild).
