Waiting for Transition is a Columbus indie pop/folk band, influenced by the New York City coast, Jeff Mangum, and late night sonic journeys. Their sound is full of melody and bursts of color that swirl over droney textures. The band’s current lineup consists of Reba Millan on guitar and vocals, Billy Silbert on drums, Matt Allen on guitar and vocals, Anthony Hodapp on vocals, and Ethan Mac on bass and vocals. Waiting for Transition have released two LPs: 2004’s “Ill-Conceived Intent” and 2012’s “He Said If We Meet Again”, one EP, “Grace”, and various 7 inches.
