Established in 2001 in Tokyo, this vocal ensemble specialises in Tudor church music, and has privately recorded three masses by William Byrd and motets by Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, Thomas Weelkes, Thomas Tomkins, and Thomas Tallis, as well as works by Johann Sebastian Bach. The sister group, Virtual Wilbye Consort, consisting of the same membership, is dedicated to performing madrigals of the Renaissance period.
