Vérszomj(derived from the Hungarian word for "bloodlust") is currently a solo project, wherein the only musician involved is Kuru. The band's lyrical themes often include topics related to drug usage and addiction, mental illness, suicide, misanthropy, and occult symbolism. Despite its current status as a one-man effort, the first four tracks published to Bandcamp were brought about via a collaboration that included three other musicians: AZZA and Lucinox, both of the now-defunct Ineffable, and Atrox of Swallowed Whole.
