Use Knife is the Belgian-Iraqi band formed by Kwinten Mordijck, Saif Al-Qaissy and Stef Heeren, in collaboration with visual artist Youniss Ahamad. In September 2022, Use Knife released their debut album, 'The Shedding of Skin' on VIERNULVIER records (Gent, BE). This record revolved around human resilience and the courage to build a new life in an entirely different environment. One year later, Use Knife returned with ‘Sowieso F***ed’, a provocative anthem characterized by its chaotic blend of samples and sounds. “There is nothing half-hearted about Use Knife as a live act. You get the distinct feeling that each member is totally energised by this iteration of their collective art.
