DJ Haram is the alias of Zubeyda Muzeyyen, a producer and DJ based in Philadelphia. DJ Haram is a producer and DJ who distinctively ties her New Jersey musical history with more recent involvement in the Philadelphia DIY noise scene, whilst paying homage to her Middle Eastern roots. A close affiliate of New York's Discwoman collective, she is also one half of 700 Bliss, alongside rapper and poet Moor Mother, who feature on this EP. She has released the EP Handplay (2023) and the full album Beside Myself (2025) on Hyperdub. Beside Myself was positively reviewed on Pitchfork where it got a 7.8 score.
