Urban Sevdah Bend from Visoko, BiH, was formed in September 2005. Band rehearsals began in October 2005, while the first public performance was in Visoko in May 2006. Urban Sevdah. They perform Sevdalinkas, Bosnian love songs. Theymixed traditional with modern, remaining firmly on the foundations of the traditional Bosnian song while taking an excursion into the sphere of compactible sounds of Rock, Jazz, Tango and partly Oriental sounds of which influences. They represent urban Sevdah, which is in opposition to rural.
