Saarbrücken, Germany (2005 – present) Trickster's Day is a German rock band, playing timeless Hard Rock, which sounds modern and fresh without denying his roots. Nevertheless the guys from Trickster's Day don’t want to deny their influence of bands like Iron Maiden, Kiss, Black Sabbath or The Who. By the means of both powerful lead singers, Tricksters Day create an own and characteristic sound in their songs. The story of Trickster's Day, began at the end of 2005 when the German hard rock band was founded. After guitar player Yugeen had left the band in March 2008, Jörg joined the band as their new guitarist and lead vocalist. The current line up is Jörg on guitar/lead vocals Hagen on guitar/lead vocals, Markus on bass/lead vocals and Lars on drums. Highlights: In April 2007 the first CD “evil candies for good hearts” was recorded under the direction of Phil Hillen (Powerwolf etc.). The four songs on the EP combine all trademarks of the Tricksters Day sound: the pushing beats, grooving bass licks, fat riffs and melodic singing. Beside good reviews for “ evil candies for good hearts (7.5/10 Points, Midnight Heart) Trickster's Day was able to climb the charts in September 2007 with the songs “ all you say “ and “decadent day” on the download music portal www.track4.de the top places 1. and 2. Above all Trickster’s Day made it in December 2007 to the finals of the German Rock und Pop Price. Out of 800 applications Tricksters Day were nominated for “Best Hard´n´Heavy Band“.
