Ribblesdale, the metal band, was established on 8th December 2013 by Mira Litomericky and Zdenek Votava, after leaving their previous band, where they played together, both on rhytm/lead guitars... All songs of Ribblesdale are songs of Mira Litomericky, who wrote them since March 2010, started in the time when he played in Last Crusader, where songs like Crusaders, Nevermore and The Day of No return could be heard... On 1st August 2011, Last Crusader divided and Mira Litomericky + Mira Slama / Matt Scott (known under the second name in a UK band called Monument) went to the UK, where they started doing music still as Last Crusader. By this time, many of Ribblesdale songs were written and after few months, Last Crusader was about to change when Mira Litomericky decided to go back to Czech Republic and do music here. In March 2012 Mira Litomericky joined Extra Band, a 30 years old czech hard rock band, which had it's golden era in 80's. Thanks to this experience, Mira Litomericky and Zdenek Votava (The Delivery) got together, played many gigs and became good friends... In the beggining of November 2013, Mira Litomericky & Zdenek Votava left Extra Band thanks to a bad situation and relationship with it's band members and bad management of the band. This thing was the leading act to establish Ribblesdale. It was a private project of Mira Litomericky till this moment, so we decided to change it.
