Traces to Nowhere takes its name from the first episode of Twin Peaks, television serial drama, which remains beyond-music inspiration for the band members. From the very beginning Traces to Nowhere has tried not to stick to one genre, their music is a mix of very different sounds, from post metal, post rock and industrial, to widely understood alternative music and trip-hop.
