Tomorrows War, and indie band from the Worcester suburbs, was originally known as Augustine. The band started by Nidhish Shivashankar (guitarist ex-OH! The Skies), Alex Stiling (Guitarist ex-OH! The Skies) and William Dell'Erba (Singer ex-The Search and Rescue). The original intentions of the band were to be an acoustic indie project, that soon changed and they added Connor McCarthy (bassist ex-Survive the Crash) and borrowed Elliot Chang (drummer ex-Survive the Crash) for shows. Augustine changed their name to Tomorrows War and released their first demo titled "Death of a Salesman" due to the fact that it was released the day Billy Mays died. The band soon began to mature musically and added Justin Brown (keyboardist) and Tony Kissell (drummer) both from Dios Trio and Behzad Massah (Djembe) After a few months of writing, recording and playing shows with Nemes, Letterday, The Break-Up Season, and Dear Saint, they finally released their first EP entitled Memories.
