1. TOLL is the name of a second generation UK industrial band. Formed in 1984 by Gary Mundy, Matthew Frith and Tim Soar as an offshoot project to their prolific group Ramleh. The recordings of the "Christ Knows" lp involved Paul Lemos (Controlled Bleeding), Tim Gane (Stereolab) and Pierre Jolivet (Pacific 231) and was released in 1986 on Mundy's legendary Broken Flag imprint. A cd re-issue of the long deleted vinyl is currently available through Cold Spring Records (as of 2006). 2. TOLL (ν¨) is also a Korean indie band, having released two single albums so far.
