Timmy & the Monsters is Leonardo Kin Ponce. A muscician born in 1988 in Mexico CIty. He started playing in rock and roll bands at the age of 14 and later joined a funk band where he played the bass till 2008 when he left the band to focus on his two electronic pryects: Timmy & The Monsters and Mont, this second with his longtime musical partner Alan Santos (Loop Can) who coproduced and mixed his first EP Casablanca Terror. Timmy and the monsters was inspired by the unhuman fascination Leonardo has for terror movies. From zombies to slash movies, and his music is both dark and sweet. The idea was to make electronic music that was at the same time intresting in a composition way. His first EP Casablanca Terror was released in 2010 by the netlabel and musical collective Electrique.
