I Can Chase Dragons! is the solo project of Julio Gudiño, lead singer from Mexican band The Plastics Revolution, currently based in Boston. Drawing influences from artists like Panda Bear and El Guincho, his music could be described as sample and loop-based experimental pop: an exotic mixture of Mexican folk ballet, Mexican sixties rock and random field recordings from around the world. With an expansive sonic palette, ICCD! creates dreamy electric textures that combine both organic and synthesized sounds. I Can Chase Dragons!’ debut LP "Expansión", released January 2012, is the first release by independent Mexican label Dos Pelicanos.
