Thorp Jenson is the stage name of Richmond, Virginia, United States musician Chris Ryan. Despite his music garnering attention from the country press and quickly getting categorised as americana, Ryan's intention for the act was to write and play rock n' roll - listening extensively to The Rolling Stones in preparation for the release of 2017's [albumartist=Thorp Jenson]Odessa.
