This, From Jacques is a currently defunct four piece from Connecticut consisting of Jake Shaker (Vocals), Dan George (Guitar), Kyle McEvoy (Bass) and Sean Posila (Drums). The band's main influences include Bright Eyes and Minus the Bear, in addition to various pieces of literature, mythology and other local Connecticut music. This, From Jacques released an EP in March, 2010 entitled "Making Things Fit Is Not About Stretching Them". The EP release show in Watertown, CT also marked their second-to-last performance as a band, their final show taking place at Wolcott High 'Battle of the Bands'.
