This Year is the name for two different projects. 1)"This Year produces "best-ofs" or "highlight shows" for podcasts and radio shows." http://www.thisyearcollection.org/ 2)This Year is best described as a pop-punk band formed in the Detroit Suburb of St. Clair Shores. Formerly known as Auburn View (2005-2007) the band began performing as This Year in late 2007. The band is currently comprised of lead vocalist Bob Lesage, guitarist Mike Muscat, guitarist Bryan Auk, bass player Jim Spinazzola and drummer John Lebaki (“No Ones Anthem”). Along with a change in name they have seen a smattering of lineup changes over the years, including former vocalist Rob Webber of “That Was Something” and most recently “No, Really!” This Year’s live show provides an energy fueled off their love of making music and simple fact that they are truly having fun on stage. You can be certain you will see great things from these boys as they come in to their own as a group.
