Idle Thumbs is a podcast produced in San Francisco by a few guys with careers in the video game industry. It offers an independent source of video game commentary rife with overenthusiastic advocacy, pretentious musings, and baffling phonological explorations. It found a weekly audience of dedicated listeners (referred to on-air as "readers"). The show had two runs, first in 2008 as Idle Thumbs and then in 2010 as The Idle Thumbs Podcast. In its history, the show featured Chris Remo, Jake Rodkin, Nick Breckon, Steve Gaynor, and Sean Vanaman. In 2012 the podcast was revived once again, and is hosted by Chris, Jake and Sean.
