This Hollow Machine is the solo work of Chad VanPelt with occasional contributions from other musicians. This Hollow Machine was formed in 2009 as a live experimental act, the first and only performance was on July 29th, 2009 at The Dawning in Charlottesville, VA. For that show the lineup consisted of Chad VanPelt and Tom Lynch. After the first show the project was dormant until Chad began writing more music in the summer of 2010. Inspired by the 40 Hour ROCK Challenge Chad collaborated with Anna Eppink to contribute a track for the challenge. After a track, Complacent was completed and submitted Chad began writing more music.
