The White Roses are an acoustic indie rock husband/wife duo who reside in Uniontown, PA. They have been on hiatus since their EP Life's a Story but are planning to get back in to the studio in 2013. Past members include: Nick Tiberi and Ryan Gartley Guest Appearances: Matt Girod The name "The White Roses" is derived from the Anti-Hilter movement called The White Rose in the 1940's. It was a small group of 5 revolutionists who would spread the truth about the Hitler Youth and the Nazi Regime. After about a year and a half and six pamphlet / newsletter's later they were turned in to the Gestapo by their fellow youth. They were killed for their actions and actually beheaded in front of a live audience. This bravery, justice fighting, and love penetrated Matt & Danielle's thoughts and heart. Due to this, they decided on the name the White Roses as they try to sing and play about Peace, Love, Justice, Hope, and Optimism. The best way to describe our music is ...
