Goth / electro band formed at the dawn of the nineties in the UK, from the ashes of a Grove in Liverpool back to the bridge over the Stour, The Vengeful Widows always enjoyed the humorous side of the dark side and with very basic equipment created their own unique sound featuring the rhythmic enchantments of Suzee The Doom Machine. With influences such as Joy Division, The early Sisters, The Cure, Siouxsie and John Barry (believe it or not) the band recorded various demos over the next few years, even releasing a couple of them on vinyl.
