THE TRESPASS project began its existence in june 2001 in the district of Paris when the twin brothers Blackell & Kruwll decided to from their own dark musical band. The band started with the original members Vincent C. (aka Blackell) as a singer and a guitarist, Benjamin C. (aka Kruwll) as a keyboarder, Xavier B. (aka Kath) as the drummer and Michael H. (alias Afterglauk) as a bassist. Two months later, Jean-louis B. (LJ Slut) joins the band as a lead guitarist. So, the five members start to compose their own music inspired by 70-80s post punk, new wave and glam rock styles which deeply marked decades by their provocating ambiguity. The first demo recordings allow Trespass to define its style among the actual french alternative scene. In march 2002, the band records its first MCD ("Shattered Time's Era"). During the following months, several other songs are recorded to complete it. Many copies are distributed in france by the band itself. Thus, Trespass is welcomed with a growing enthusiasm by the internationnal goth community. During the 2002-2003 period, the band gives many concerts and also prepare its new autoproduction entitled "The Death Wave". In a promotionnal purpose, more attention has been brought to the production and the tracklisting (five tracks that show all the directions of Trespass's deathwave).
