http://thetundra.net Born from the desire of a few college students from Eastern PA and NJ to form a band, The Tundra got together in early 2006. The Tundra has been independently produced with the help of local recording studios, and has played various small shows around the local area. The band is composed of Singer/Songwriter and lead guitarist Jared Maxson, Keyboardist/Composer Dan Frank, Bassist Paul Berruti, and Drummer Mike Ryan. Their first EP, Rituals, was released locally in 2007, and became popular in certain communities. Their single The Engine grew them much grassroot support. After taking a little hiatus to fine tune their sound, the Tundra came back in August of 2009 with a full length album The Law as a tribute to all the hard work they did in their college years. The album contains nine tracks, most of which has a driving rock and roll feel. Their new album shows a newer, more mature band to the delight of their small but dedicated fanbase. They had dropped the article "the" from their name for the album and now go by just "Tundra". Shortly after the recording of the album, Tundra broke up citing occupational differences as being the main contributing factor (in addition to global warming). They never took their latest album on tour except for a few small house shows where they demo's some of their new songs. The members now are pursuing their own interests all over the country.
