Artist
Coming straight from the ether itself, Mo Jiwa needs no introduction. Born December 22nd 1983, the name 'Jiwa' has its etymological foundations in the word 'light'... Mo Jiwa is a singer/songwriter from the small city of Peterborough - 80 miles north of London, UK. He started playing the guitar when he was sixteen, and progressed onto the bass, keys, drums and eventually harmonica. Initially, he started putting out music under the pseudonym "Fluoridation" in 2005. In 2006, he founded his first band, BiPOLAR SHRiMP (www.myspace.com/bipolarshrimp). Lately, he has been focusing on his solo work, which, unlike BiPOLAR SHRiMP, is closer to the acoustic music he was inspired by. He played his first solo gig in London in September 2007, with plans of more gigs to follow. Recently reunited with Stephan, former bass player from BiPOLAR SHRiMP, they are working on a new project: Jack Flint.
