The Superkings are a four piece rock/pop band from Burnley in the North West of England, consisting of Lenni Benét on lead guitar and vocals, brother Mark on bass and backing vocals, cousin Wes on rhythm guitar and vocals and Christian Taylor-Hilton on drums. The Superkings have an original sound (a composite of Indie and Rock) made unique by Lenni's amazing lead guitar solo breaks. After learning thier craft in thier home town of Burnley, which included the notorious Duke of York public house and a packed out 500 plus audience at The Mechanics , where they supported The Clone Roses the band decided to conquer the world. Over the last 3 years they have played to packed crowds in both London and Manchester, The Purple turtle in Camden were so impressed by the band that a monthly slot was offered ( this was declined because other promoters didn’t want the band playing within the vicinity of their own venues for at least a month and The Superkings want to play at every venue ) The Superkings played The roadhouse in Manchester enjoying the 2 coach loads of fans who came to watch and as a result of that gig The studio in Manchster booked the band to play their opening student night. Since launching their music on the internet The Superkings have enjoyed considerable success. The band was voted number one on Popworld for their song ‘All My Dreams’.
