The Spektakuler is an art project-based band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, a joint-venture between two bands: Black Ribbon and Demi Tuhan. This project ranging from visual art, performance, text and music; all are based on the spectacular, bombastic, provocative and the oddity of popular culture in Indonesia. They are using a blog to collect found images in the internet, re-writing a headline news or quotation via Twitter. Their music fuses traditional punk rock tune with noise rock in dark atmosphere. The Spektakuler are Wok The Rock (Vocal, bass), Uji Hahan (Vocal, FX), Iyok Prayogo (Guitars), Krisna Widiathama (FX) and Edwin Dolly Roseno (Drums).
