THE SIN KINGS are a sexy, female fronted five piece from Birmingham, UK in 2007. Combining up-tempo drum beats, loud guitars and powerfully melodised vocals, their sound is something difficult to describe but definitely not to be missed. They were born in the latter of 2007 on a cold, dark night in a small upstairs room, where Miz and Dave Legg started to create the definitive sound that makes THE SIN KINGS stand out from their contemporaries. After an afternoon in the pub, Cat Stock and Ade Stead too found themselves amongst the clutter of old computers, disused bicycles and misused cuddley toys. Soon the songs and ideas grew, and so did the need for a drummer. Matt Goodman had previously played in This Amber Island with Ade, and so was recruited and the set was complete. As a frontwoman Miz is exciting, scintillating, entertaining and sexy – a persona honed from her days fronting popular Brum band Koala Grip. Having played and sang since childhood, Cat’s vocals entwine skillfully with Miz’s, also providing keyboard lines that broaden and deepen THE SIN KINGS sound. Giving everything you want from a guitarist and more, Dave’s solid chords and elegant riffs are delightfully polar, developed during his time in bands P.V.T and Tripwire but aided by his ability to know exactly what will work within a song.
