The Sea Charmer arose of nowhere in spring 2011 to continue with ideas and musical direction of previous projects left on hold or safely dead. A vocalist Zdeněk Kurka (ex-5 Symbols) and a guitarist Petr Pádivý (ex-Virchow), the godfathers of the band, quickly found new members in Tomáš Pípa: guitars (ex-Virchow, ex-D.A.D.), Jakub Štefl:bass guitar (ex-Dark Days) and Jakub Žáček on drums to start the writing process immediately and to joint he ranks of the growing Czech new school metal/hardcore family. After having written three songs, in autumn 2012, Zdenek left the band to join Born Again shortly, and soon after him Tomáš left the board to cease playing guitar altogether. Fortunately, the replacement for a guitar gap was found before long in a young talented guy from the neighbourhood, Lukáš Slavík. Afterwards, the harder part came in finding a proper vocalist to become a full member of this hilarious team. After giving few guys a tryout, the band regrettably walks it’s path alone, without a singer until now. However, records of The Sea Charmer are not instrumental, as it may seem. „Charmers“ have cooperated with a session vocalist, Jonathan Sinfield of a great british band Chronographs, twice already. Jon appears first time on a debut ep called „Cimmerian Repose“ which was recorded, mixed and produced at Tomáš Raclavský's home studio in the beginning of May 2012.
