The Royal Flairs were a garage-rock band from Council Bluffs, Iowa. In the early 60s, They served as the house band for the Milrose Ballroom in Omaha. They also cut a couple of garage and surf 45's as The Royal Flairs and The Unlimited. Their songs are noted for their dirty, raw sound and morbid lyrics. The band broke up afterlead singer Bob Everhart was shot trying to protect a 350-pound go-go dancer named Miss Temptation from a crazed bar patron. He survived the wound but decided to get out of the nightclubs. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
