The Rodchester Kings

A Vancouver-based folk band which existed before 1995. Notable primarily for its vocalist, Matthew Good, who went on to front the Matthew Good band. The Rodchester Kings material is quite similar to Matthew Good's early solo cassette releases: minimalistic acoustic guitar work, ethereal vocal processing reminiscent of the 4AD style from this period, and no percussion.
