(1978-1980, 2009-present) Melbourne, Australia Lived and met in Springvale (an outer suburb of Melbourne), and left the area as soon as they could. The Primitive Calculators are suburban filth who crawled out of the shitbox of Springvale in the late seventies to inflict their revenge on the human race. After a couple of years of making, to that time, the ugliest, most nihilistic music ever created, they burned out and destroyed themselves in a thrash of contempt. In the process they became the greatest Australian rock'n'roll band of all time. Now, decades later, they have re-emerged to spread their worthless aural pus on a whole new generation of losers and shitheads.
