In the hip-but-empty part of Bushwick, Brooklyn, you’ll find The Post Nobles, a group of dreamy and energetic musicians, inventing music in their compact, yet futuristic studio. The Post Nobles band members and respective roles include: Denis O’Leary, vocals and synth; Betsy Wendt, vocals and flute; Kieran O’Leary, guitar, synth, bass, and drum machine (a talented show-off); Andrew Knox, guitar; and Ricky Berotti, drums + studio wizardry. But no one is stuck on any one instrument: the band is full of multi-instrumentalists and the song writing process is generally a group effort — fused with ridiculous banter and months spent tinkering away at every last detail. Though the Nobles are constantly tinkering away at new sounds- their sonic landscape is typically explosive in nature, with thick bass and tight and heavy drums providing the groove.
