History : Formed by early January 2007 in Padang. Early from small reunion 4 people Ex Don Bosco High School Padang : Ryan(Yeye), Nindo(Tonjot), Ivan, Alvin. Because of four of them both of the same like The Ramones, hence they mutually agree to the form a band with formation: Tonjot Pestol : Guitar - Vox Ivan Pestol : Guitar - Vox Yeye Pestol : Bass - Vox Alvin Pestol : Drum – Vox Then determined the band’s name after through debate of length. Agreed on a proper name that is, THE PESTOL. And The Time Goes By… : Month of July 2007, Ivan set mind on vacuum of band and continuing study to Jakarta. To fill blankness, Fergo an old friend invited to replace Ivan. So that formation change: Tonjot Pestol : Guitar – Vox Fergo Pestol : Guitar – Vox Yeye Pestol : Bass – Vox Alvin Pestol : Drum – Vox After 1 month of walking with formation newly, again The Pestol losing of 1 personnel again. Month of August 2007, Yeye also express vacuum of band to continuing study to Jakarta propose Ivan. Tonjot, Fergo and Alvin mutually agree to for not to recruit again, because nobody can replace Ivan and Yeye. So that formation return to change: Fergo Pestol : Guitar - Bass – Vox Tonjot Pestol : Bass – Guitar – Vox Alvin Pestol : Drum – Vox This formation mutually agree to to be defended shall Ivan and Yeye return to join.
