The One Night Stands, one of Johannesburg’s most well known and respected Indie/Alternative bands, are set to release their sophomore album, ‘Songs From The Edge Of The World’, in mid September 2010. 12 songs have been recorded at their Sting Studios base and the band is proclaiming it as their best work yet. Fresh from recruiting phenomenal sticks-man, Eddie White from defunct rockers, The Hellphones, the Standies are looking to consolidate the success of the self-titled debut album and chart topping single ‘Seconds’. Enormous interest is building up in anticipation of this release and the band will be showcasing a special album release party at an-as-yet undisclosed JHB hotspot.
