The Noble Truths are an eclectic band from the suburbs of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The Noble Truths, fully formed in early 2010, are a difficult band to categorize. Think fuzzy, gritty garage rock. Now think bass-pumping indie power pop. Now think of big-riff blues. NOW think of smooth sixties melodic folk-rock. If you’re thinking of all that, you’ve only scratched the surface. From most bands, this kind of flagrant disregard for the “proper” rules of genre conventions would lead to a big mess; but The Noble Truths make it work. Not only do they blend countless styles into a surprisingly consistent sound, instantly identifiable by the combined and alternating vocals of Nick Pascuzzi and Brendan Teskey, but they have fun doing it.
