The New Surreal is New York City's latest bold stab at restoring rock and roll from its faded glory, with heavy focus on the meticulous songwriting and concise structure, driven by memorable hooks and the quizical introspective musings of lead singer/guitarist Danny Chait. Influences of the three band members range vastly, and given the band's extensive playing and performing experience, they have come to meld seamlessly in constantly refreshing and novel musical statements.
