Straight outta Liverpool comes The Bo Weevils with their indie saloon rock. Did I just make up a genre? I sure did! The Bo Weevils use twangy guitars and folky rhythms to create upbeat songs with a southern, bluesy style. The Bo Weevils are a funky 4 piece rock band from Liverpool, with a singing drummer Gav Richards who is also the main song writer. Other band members include, Ste Buhagiar, vocals, guitar, and gob iron. Andy Holland bass, vocals and Ian Barton lead guitar, vocals. Recent gigs include playing Echo Arena were they got crowned scouse factor by the Liverpool echo, Playing cream fields after winning a Street Waves competition, Playing the big stage on the Mathew Street festival, Playing the album luanch gig on a boat in the rain (which was most exciting hehe) and hosting their own nights in their rehearsing studio which was a great success. As well as having their latest tracks played on BBC Radio, George Sephton has been playing different tracks of the new album at liverpools home ground Anfield at half time during recent games.
