The Mother Z's is an impromptu collaboration between brother and sister turned non-impromptu, featuring Rebecca Palmer on percussion/vocals, Andy Palmer on guitar/vocals, and (most recently... and only if Becca preapproves his presence) Aaron Gonzales on the upright bass. The group started in the summer of 2007 on a sunny afternoon in a bedroom just south of Chicago, IL. Since then, Andy and Becca have played shows, met and collaborated with some great folks, written and recorded lots of songs, invented a secret handshake, gone to the mall, and eaten a lot of sub sandwiches... and we're only gettin' warmed up!
