about

David Fulbrook and Deadly met in July 2003 at the Port Mahon. Deadly was playing keyboards in The Rock of Travolta at the time, but was becoming disillusioned. David, who was performing solo at the time, announced that he wanted to form a band. As the two had established a great friendship over a few beers, they decided to get together and see what could be done. Performing as a duo for a year, they steadily built up their standing and reputation in Oxford's ever-growing acoustic scene. Support slots with Ginger from the Wildhearts and Simple Kid both at the Zodiac has helped to further their reputation. Along with appearances at Truck Festival and contributing to the festival CD in 2004. The band added Spadge on drums and David took up an electric guitar and they've not looked back since with Spadge adding good looks, charisma, charm and of course the all important keeping David in time! The name change came as a further two members were added to the line-up. Cotty (from the Walk Off) joined in on electric guitar (which also allowed David to revert to his favoured acoustic) and Barny (ex-Boxtheatre) arrived on keys - giving the band a fuller, deeper sound. The band shall be returning to the studio very soon and they even have a couple of gigs lined-up.
