The Mekters is a pop/rock band from Sweden. They released the cult demo "Ögat" in 1995. After two liveshows and a couple of demos they sadly split up 1998. 10 years, 2008 later they re-united with a new band member, Johan Gustafsson on drums and started rehearsale and recording demos. Although, in 2009 Ulrik left the band and The Mekters is now a trio Johan Lundberg (guitars), Johan Gustafsson (drums) and Eric Dader (vocals).
