Formed in the early part of 2007 this five piece deathgrind group, hailing from Shallotte North Carolina were out to refine a sound so watered down in recent years, by countless metal bands. TMRA was founded on efforts to break away from the traditional open chord breakdown, and the quickly written fill in parts to make songs longer. Coming from many different styles of metal and grindcore (and even blues), the members began to learn from each other, and expirement with new techniques proceeding to expand their range, and versatility. After several basic lineup changes the band started heading into what their sound which can only be described as...brutal, epic, tech-metal. The band's monolithic sound and blistering low end, lightning fast picking, slow gore-style grooves, and complex chord structures prove to be some of their best attributes. Maintaining their status as a death metal band TMRA packs more than enough punch for any pit-loving beatdown dancer, however, also knowing how to bring things to the next level musically, with clean intrumental melodys.
